About the role

PT Kamadjaja Logistics is seeking a General Manager for Contract Logistics e-Commerce Warehousing to lead and oversee our expanding e-commerce warehousing operations. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang, Banten
, where you will take strategic responsibility for managing our contract logistics services dedicated to the e-commerce sector. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence, revenue growth and customer satisfaction whilst ensuring our warehouse facilities operate at peak efficiency. This position offers significant scope to shape the future direction of our e-commerce logistics division and make a tangible impact on the company's growth.

Oversee all aspects of e-commerce warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, sorting and dispatching

Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs and improve service delivery to e-commerce clients

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring service level agreements are consistently met

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery times, inventory turnover and warehouse capacity utilisation

Implement and oversee health, safety and environmental compliance procedures across all warehouse operations

Manage warehouse budgets, control costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure seamless integration between warehousing and transportation services

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies and automation solutions to enhance operational capability

Report directly to senior management on operational performance, business challenges and strategic opportunities

Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or general manager capacity

Proven track record managing large-scale e-commerce or contract logistics

Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics requirements, order fulfillment processes and supply chain dynamics

Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment

Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control and P&L responsibility

Proficiency in analysing operational data and using KPIs to drive decision-making

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to interface with clients and internal teams at all levels

Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards and best practices in warehousing and logistics

Certification in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse operations is advantageous

Experience with process improvement methodologies such is preferred

Familiarity with advanced warehouse automation and technology solutions is a plus
