• Fill in for the Operator; act as a backup operator, learn how to run the machine, and work with General Production when not operating the machine.
• Set up and maintain equipment.
• Operate assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment throughout the shift.
• Accurately complete all necessary production documentation where applicable.
• Know basic operations of assigned equipment and basic trouble‑solving techniques.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to cross‑training on other machines and/or in other areas.

• Practice good safety habits and have a good safety record.
• Practice good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Maintain good attendance.
• Practice good housekeeping at all times.
• Work with support groups to ensure lines start on time and minimize downtime.
• Know product specifications and how to maintain correct specifications and line speeds.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Be flexible.
• Have strong organization and written skills.
• Have general knowledge of computers.
• Be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work 8–12 hour shifts – standing.
• Work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair/beard net, hearing protection, and rubber boots with safety toe.
• All PPE is provided by Sara Lee Frozen Bakery.
• Withstand cold and hot environments.
• Sweep and clean area during and after shift.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to cross‑training in other areas.
