Position Overview:

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be joining a team of fun, energetic individuals some of whom have been working at St Luke’s for over 30 years (that should speak volumes).

* Must be flexible and able to travel between various St Luke’s locations in the Tampa Bay Region (Tarpons Springs and Spring Hill)*

• Learn the fundamentals of eye care through our structured, hands-on training program
• Work directly with patients, guiding them through their appointments
• Perform diagnostic tests and assist physicians during exams
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming environment for patients
• Use state-of-the-art technology to provide top-quality care

• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)
• Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT)

• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Someone eager to learn and grow within a stable, well-respected company
• Basic computer skills and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be flexible and able to travel between various St Luke’s locations in the Tampa Bay Region (Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa and Wesley Chapel)
