The role you'll contribute:

The Electrophysiology Staff Technician (RN/Technologist) provides direct patient care assisting the physician during cardiac, vascular and electrophysiological invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ensures the safe operation of all equipment used in the EP labs. Works under the direction of physician.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Prepares the patient for the procedure, monitors, positions, and assists the patient during the procedure.

Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to cardiac catheterization lab practice standards to aid in diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.

Assists the physician throughout the procedure.

Assesses the procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.

Safely operates electrophysiology support equipment including EP recording system, 3D mapping, and EP stimulator.

Maintains medical devices, cleans, and calibrates equipment.

Follows proper infection control procedures.

Qualifications

Associate Required.

3 Work Experience Required.

Computer proficiency required.

Registered Nurse (RN) Required.

Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Required.

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required.

Lic Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH) Required.

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required.
