Key Responsibilities- Providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care, utilizing eye blocks, topical anesthesia, and light sedation.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments to prepare for monitored anesthesia care.
- Monitoring and managing patient recovery, addressing immediate post-operative needs.
- Collaborating closely with ophthalmologists, surgical teams, and fellow CRNAs to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA (will train for ophthalmic-specific procedures).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
- Competitive Salary:
Annual salary range of $250,000-$325,000, based on a 4-5 day work week. - Work-Life Balance:
Average of less than 40 hours per week, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. - Generous Time Off: 5 weeks of paid time off (PTO) plus up to 2 weeks of paid "doctor out" days annually.
