What You’ll DoYou’ll own and execute the sales & marketing strategy to meet occupancy goals and total revenue potential, attracting qualified prospects and converting them into committed residents. Day‑to‑day, that means:
- Building strong referral pipelines through presentations, targeted mailings, and weekly referrer meetings
- Conducting tours and closing using a consistently customer‑oriented approach
- Delivering weekly referral results and surveys semi‑annually to support tours and move‑ins
- Partnering cross‑functionally to improve campaigns and conversion
- Meeting clear metrics‑driven weekly/monthly activity goals and outcomes
- A creative, energetic, enthusiastic approach and a genuinely cheerful demeanor
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to turn insights into action
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing‑related tools/software
- A history of building professional referral sources and nurturing relationships
- Willingness to travel ~30% within the local market to meet referral partners and attend events
- Five years’ sales/marketing experience with a proven track record
- Experience working with seniors and a keen desire to serve them

We follow robust emergency procedures and safety practices and maintain infection‑control standards in line with healthcare regulations and best practices. Background, criminal, and drug screening may be required; periodic random tests may occur. Certain roles may involve exposure to healthcare environments.
Essential Functions- Responsible for community outreach and education activities for creating referrals
- Specific goals include:
- Two internal group presentations per month
- Two external group presentations per month
- Two targeted group mailings per month
- Ten meetings with potential new referrers per week
- One fax bomb per month to key referral sources
- Fifteen telephone calls per day
- Five referrals received per week
- Coordinate outreach meetings for key staff
- Provide direct sales backup and close sales when necessary
- Consistently use a customer‑oriented selling approach
- Provide alternate weekend coverage
- Participate with other team members on development of effective sales and marketing plans
- Update competitor evaluation and price surveys semi‑annually
- Follow all emergency procedures, understand all safety practices and procedures
- Exhibits excellent customer service and public relations skills
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team‑oriented
- Promote the community positively and effectively communicate values to residents, families, visitors, and associates
- Physical requirements:
spends at least 30% of time traveling to referral sources in the market area
