What You ll Do
- Assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen efficiently and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Support menu development and preparation of innovative, scratch-made dishes
- Supervise, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff to create a collaborative, high-performing team
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help manage food costs
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Foster creativity, teamwork, and a positive working environment in the kitchen
- Proven experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role (minimum 2 years)
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on fresh, high-quality food
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Passion for culinary excellence and continuous improvement
