Asphalt Distributor Operator- Birmingham, AL

This role requires a valid CDL license with Tanker endorsement. The operator will drive and operate an Asphalt Distributor on road‑construction projects.

• Set the spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi‑automatic distributors to apply liquid asphalt.
• Oil, grease, service, and perform normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Maintain efficient working condition of the equipment, perform minor servicing and maintenance, and refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string lines, and adding or removing screed extensions.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Perform basic arithmetic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screening.

• Current CDL license, preferably with Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to learn how to operate an Asphalt Distributor Truck.
• Valid DOT physical and drug screen certification.
