Client Manager

A growing accountancy practice based in Taunton has a requirement for a Client Manager to join, taking on the hands‑on delivery, review and management of accounts, tax and wider all‑around service provision within a growing division of their practice. The role involves managing teams and working closely with Partners as key right‑hand support, with a clear progression path on offer.

The partners are looking for a key right‑hand supporter who can lead the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services, while adding value to clients on advisory and planning projects. A clear progression path is available to develop within this successful firm.

As Client Manager based in the Taunton offices, you will bring your background as an all‑rounder in accounts, tax and general accountancy practice. You will service sole traders, partnerships, limited company OMBs, SMEs, adopting a hands‑on approach, while managing full delivery and building client relationships. In addition to managing compliance and delivery, you will lead on delivering added value, advisory and planning work to clients, mentor and train your team, and carve a career as key support to the partners.

A clear progression path is on offer for those interested in progressing beyond manager levels.

Qualifications:

AAT, ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent experience through practice alone. You should have a strong background in accountancy practice, having progressed to around manager level within small, medium or large firm environments as an all‑round general accountancy professional, and be seeking a move with a clear career progression path.

£40,000 – £55,000, dependent on experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits. Negotiable.
