We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Admin Apprentice to join our friendly team at Taunton Town Council. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to gain a recognised qualification while developing valuable workplace skills and making a real difference in their local community.
In this varied and rewarding role, no two days will be the same. You will support the effective management and maintenance of Council buildings, facilities and community spaces across Taunton, gaining valuable experience in both office-based and practical environments.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining digital records and databases
- Supporting inspections of Council properties
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance activities
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
You will also help monitor energy and utility usage, respond to enquiries from staff, residents and customers, and assist with projects that enhance Council services. Using a range of systems, technology and Microsoft Office applications, you will play an important part in keeping services running smoothly while supporting events and activities throughout the town.
