Quantity Surveyor - Permanent
Salary:
Up to £65,000 + Package
Location:
Taunton / South West
Pro Staff are working with an established construction contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company delivers a diverse range of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects across the South West and South Wales, working within commercial, education, healthcare, leisure sectors.
The Role:- Managing the commercial aspects of projects from start through to final account
- Subcontractor procurement, management and payments
- Cost reporting, valuations and variations
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor environment
- Experience across refurbishment and/or new build projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Able to manage multiple projects effectively
