A thriving and nurturing primary school in the Taunton area is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Class Teacher & EYFS Lead to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about shaping early learning and driving high‑quality provision across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
⭐ About the Role
As the EYFS Lead, you will take a pivotal role in developing and championing outstanding Early Years practice across the school. You will:
Lead and inspire the EYFS team to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning.
Shape a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, curiosity and a love of learning.
Support a high proportion of learners with SEND by embedding compassionate, relational and inclusive practice.
Contribute to a forward‑thinking curriculum that supports equitable educational experiences for all children. The school offers a warm, collaborative environment with a strong commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing.
⭐ What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from teachers who:
Hold QTS (or equivalent) and have strong classroom practice.
Have experience teaching across relevant key stages and can deliver consistently high‑quality lessons
Are confident communicators who can motivate others and build positive relationships with staff, pupils and families.
Can champion inclusive practice and meet the needs of learners including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high‑attaining pupils.
Are ready to lead, innovate and contribute to whole‑school development.
