A brilliant and inclusive secondary school in Taunton is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to lead their exceptional SEND department

- Monitor and review individual education plans (IEPs) to ensure the needs of students with SEND are met effectively.
- Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive and holistic support for students.
- Lead and deliver CPD sessions
, ensuring all staff are equipped to meet the needs of SEND students.
- Qualified SENCO with significant experience in leading SEND provision.
- Leadership experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing and supporting a SEND team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents.
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to ensuring that all students have the support they need to succeed.
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
