About the School

About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent leadership position within the school offering the chance to shape SEND strategy manage provision across all key stages and lead a dedicated team of support staff and teaching assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and evaluation of the schools SEND strategy
- Coordinate and review Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Train and mentor classroom staff on adaptive teaching and inclusion
- Liaise with parents carers and external agencies to ensure consistent support
- Monitor and report on progress and intervention outcomes
- Dedicated SEND hub with breakout rooms and sensory spaces
- Access to advanced assistive technologies for learning support
- Collaboration with local therapists educational psychologists and SEND networks
- Strong pastoral and safeguarding team support
- Funded CPD and support to complete or enhance the NASENCO qualification
- Opportunities for progression into senior leadership roles
