Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 per annumContract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)Location: West Hatch & Hambridge - Somerset

We are working with a specialist school in Somerset who are seeking a dedicated KS2 SEN Teacher to join their team across two beautiful rural sites. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children with complex needs and challenging behaviours, within a supportive and highly resourced environment.

Both sites are set in peaceful countryside locations just outside Taunton, offering a calm and nurturing setting for staff and pupils alike. With small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios, often 1:1, teachers have the time and resources to deliver truly personalised, impactful learning.

The Role

As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that support a wide range of learning needs. You'll create personalised learning routes, promote independence, and help develop vital social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to a variety of learning styles
  • Create personalised learning plans for pupils working up to KS2 level
  • Provide support, encouragement and structured guidance to individual pupils
  • Prepare teaching materials and ensure safe use of equipment and resources
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive classroom environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students with SEND and committed to helping each child reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to supporting pupils with SEND
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a SEND environment or similar provision
  • QTS/QTLS is essential
  • Ability to adapt, nurture and inspire learners with diverse needs
