Exam Invigilators

Actual Hourly Rate: £12.86

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,819 - £25,548 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week.

An opportunity to provide flexible, casual support to the academy team during busy exam periods.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exam invigilating support during scheduled examinations across the Federation.
  • Assist with setting up exam environments before the start of the school day and, on occasions, after the school day has finished.
  • Support exam-related roles such as readers and scribes as required.
  • Work on a casual basis, available when called upon to support during exam periods (typically November, January, March, and summer exams in May and June).
  • Adapt to varying working hours based on exam schedules.

  • Practical experience of understanding and following processes and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure or during unexpected circumstances.
  • Caring and understanding attitude, sensitive and responsive to students’ needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
