Salary: £27,000 per annum with the potential to progress up to £32,000 per annum. Bonus scheme: £1,500 per annum based on performance & company performance. OTE earnings for year 1: £28,500.
Full‑time, permanent role.
Transport: UK/EU Driving Licence and own transport is essential.
Holiday: 11+ weeks paid holiday a year.

You’ll teach in multiple schools across a regional area each week. The approximate centre point of this region is where this role is advertised. Be prepared for highly active days and to spend time on the road driving between schools. You’ll need to load and unload your band equipment, set‑up and pack away in each location.

No teaching experience required – full training, support and development provided.
Responsibilities- Teach groups of primary‑age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
- Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument – drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
- Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders, with the support of central teams.
- Be a rock and pop star role‑model, empowering and supporting children in primary schools to deliver live performances at their end‑of‑term concerts.
- Help children develop their self‑belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
- Represent Rocksteady, building strong relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
- Competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
- Enthusiasm to learn how to teach band lessons and complete our extensive training programme before you start your timetable.
- Resilience to work in a role that provides some of your greatest moments and biggest challenges – often all in the same day.
- Confidence to be yourself at work, be proud of your uniqueness and communicate equally well with children, teachers and parents.
- Integrity to always promote the safety and well‑being of children and young people.
- Organised, independent worker, with good time management and administration skills.
- UK/EU driving licence and your own transport. This role requires you to use your own car to transport equipment and drive between schools.
- Full‑time, salaried position.
- Work Monday‑Friday, daytimes only.
