Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated Primary & Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive and nurturing special needs school.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to young children with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver individualized learning plans.
Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Support children in developing essential social, emotional, and early academic skills.
Assist in managing challenging behavior with patience and positivity.
Work with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure each child’s success.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young children with SEND, especially Autism and Asperger’s.
A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support children with special needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility and a proactive mindset to adapt to varying situations.
A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all children.
