As a Teacher at Park House School, you will deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse and individual needs of our learners. You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop essential skills, and re‑engage with education.
This role involves working with pupils who may not thrive in mainstream settings and require a flexible, creative, and therapeutic approach to learning
. You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons, tracking progress, and supporting each pupil’s unique journey.
Park House School is a small, specialist provision
, registered for 26 pupils aged 8–19
. We provide a therapeutic-based learning environment for young people with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
.

In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
- Term time only (aligned with local authority academic dates)

- Experience teaching Maths and/or Science
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities

- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
Experience in specialist or alternative provision is desirable, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs
