As a System Handover Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s most critical infrastructure projects - Hinkley Point

C. This is a pivotal stage in the build process, where your expertise ensures that systems and equipment installations are commissioned to the highest safety and quality standards. Your work will make a tangible difference to national energy security and will accelerate your career development in the dynamic world of defence, aerospace, and engineering.

• Coordinating and delivering work packages from installation through to commissioning
• Monitoring and driving quality reporting and evidence from contract partners
• Maintaining system handover procedures, guidelines, and work instructions
• Managing and updating the handover database
• Collaborating with the OCC Manager and engaging daily with project installers and completions teams

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at Hinkley.

• Previous project engineering experience
• Background in mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, or instrumentation engineering
• Experience working within multi-discipline teams
• Understanding of CDM regulations
• Familiarity with handover databases (e.g., WinPCS, Opus, Switch Asset Suite)

• Project Management qualification (APM PPQ or Prince2)
• Degree beneficial but not essential

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
