Mechanical Engineer (Machinery Build)

Salary: GBP 35,665.60 per annum (18.29 per hour DOE plus premium overtime rates – 5:10 hours per month – and increasing holidays up to 25 days, bank holidays, free parking, sick pay).

Work hours:

37.5 per week – Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:30.

Mechanical Engineer required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. Candidates will need to be a mechanical engineer with experience working in a technical assembly / machine fitting position. You will hold a relevant mechanical qualification and will have experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools and power tools.

Working in a team of 5‑6 people, the successful Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for building and assembling special purpose machinery based from engineering drawings.
