As a Lifting Engineer, you will take ownership of the planning and delivery of complex lifting operations within one of the UK’s most significant nuclear construction projects. This is a full‑time role, working 37 hours per week and based at our Hinkley Point C site.

• Producing detailed lift plans, procedures and coordination studies for complex operations
• Selecting appropriate lifting methods, cranes and equipment to meet safety and project requirements
• Ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards, legislation and site‑specific procedures
• Briefing lifting teams and supervisors to ensure full understanding of plans and safe systems of work
• Identifying hazards, resolving constraints and supporting safe, integrated delivery across site activities

• Experience producing lift plans within major construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging and crane planning
• Understanding of health, safety and compliance standards in high‑risk environments
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and site stakeholders
• Coordinating activities and prioritising workload within complex project environments

• CPCS Appointed Person (A61) Blue Card
• NVQ Level 3 in steel erecting or moving loads
