Reliability Engineer
Contract - Initial 3months (potential to extend)

Do you like to drive engineering excellence, improve asset performance, and deliver sustainable improvements across our manufacturing operations…
Working closely with Engineering and Operations teams, you will lead reliability initiatives, identify performance losses, and implement improvement strategies that increase equipment availability, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant performance.
This is a key role for an experienced engineering professional who enjoys solving problems, developing teams, and creating lasting improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive engineering reliability improvements across production assets and processes
* Lead structured problem-solving activities including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure investigations
* Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance effectiveness
* Support the delivery of Engineering Excellence through reliability, maintenance, and improvement strategies
* Coach engineering teams in reliability tools, best practices, and continuous improvement methods
* Analyse equipment data using CMMS systems to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Develop and implement preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance improvements
* Improve asset life, spare parts effectiveness, and maintenance efficiency
* Support the introduction of new equipment through effective engineering standards and early equipment management
* Drive standardisation and share best practice across engineering teams
* Monitor engineering KPIs and support improvements in safety, quality, cost, and performance
* Ensure all engineering activities meet required safety, compliance, and operational standards
You are an experienced engineering professional with a strong mechanical or electrical background and a passion for reliability and continuous improvement.
You have the ability to analyse problems, influence teams, and deliver practical solutions that improve equipment performance. You enjoy working collaboratively and have the confidence to coach others and drive positive change.
Essential
Experience:
* Strong mechanical/electrical engineering background
* Experience with in a manufacturing or production environment
* Proven experience delivering reliability or continuous improvement initiatives
* Strong understanding of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies
* Experience with Root Cause Analysis and structured problem solving
* Ability to analyse engineering data and identify improvement opportunities
* Strong communication and influencing skills
