Advisory Tax Senior

A fast growing and highly successful firm of accountants based in Taunton is looking to recruit an Advisory Tax Senior as a key addition as part of the firm expansion and growth plans. The role focuses across both personal and corporate tax planning and the delivery of tax advisory project work, with scope to focus on areas of technical interest.

Client details:
The firm acts for a wide range of OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients across various sectors and turnover, alongside a private client base comprising HNWIs, directors, property‑related and other personal tax clients. They deliver a quality compliance service while focusing on tax planning and advisory services. The tax team is looking to bolster this advisory side, working closely with tax experts and carving a key, influential role with associate progression opportunities.

Description

As an Advisory Tax Senior you will undertake a mixed tax role delivering tax planning and advice to both corporate and personal tax clients. You will work on varied tax planning and advisory projects—including researching and advising on business sales, acquisitions, R&D, CGT, tax advice for shareholders, inheritance tax, and succession planning.

Profile

Qualifications:

ACCA, ACA/ATT, CTA or currently studying.

Experience:

Personal tax, corporate tax, or mixed tax developed within an accountancy practice environment or specialist tax firm. You aim to further your career in tax, following qualification, within a firm offering progression and development. You will demonstrate a client‑serviced approach, focus on the advisory route, commercial awareness, and ability to add value to clients.

Job Offer

Salary:
