An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and motivated Finance Officer to join our busy, centralised finance team in Taunton. This is a key role within a fast paced, multi disciplined environment, offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to develop your finance skills further.

** Key Responsibilities
** In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the day to day operations of the finance department, including:
* Processing a high volume of purchase and sales ledger transactions using Sage 200.
* Maintaining accurate records and completing reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
* Undertaking “incomplete records” reconciliations utilising both Excel and Sage 200.
* Preparing and processing supplier BACS payment runs.
* Handling telephone enquiries, redirecting calls, resolving queries, and taking clear messages.
* Providing flexible support to colleagues across the wider team as required.
** About You
** We’re seeking someone who brings energy, accuracy and a positive attitude to everything they do. You’ll fit in well if you are:
* Previous experience working in a busy, client facing, multi disciplined finance department.
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A highly organised, methodical approach to work.
* A strong customer service focus when supporting colleagues and clients.
* The ability to work to strict deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
* Confidence to work independently and use their own initiative.
* At least three years’ experience in a similar accounts office role.

Full training on our systems and processes will be provided.
