We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning team in Taunton. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting detailed technical research, and ensuring all recommendations are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports based on Financial Adviser recommendations.
- Conduct detailed financial product, investment, and fund research to support client recommendations.
- Analyse complex client information, including income, assets, pensions, investments, and protection requirements.
- Support Advisers in developing tailored financial planning strategies for clients.
- Ensure all advice and documentation align with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Liaise closely with Financial Advisers and administration teams to gather, review, and clarify client information.
- Assist with cashflow modelling and the preparation of financial planning scenarios where required.
- Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date client records.
- Stay informed of changes to financial products, legislation, regulation, and market developments.
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level
4) or working towards completion. - Previous experience within a Paraplanning or technical financial services role.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning products, including pensions, investments, and protection.
- Proven experience preparing detailed suitability reports.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively alongside Financial Advisers and wider teams.
