Interim Management Accountant Taunton, Somerset Up to £35 per hour Immediate Start Available 5 Days Per Week Onsite Initially on a Timesheet Basis with Potential for a Permanent Opportunity

A successful and growing manufacturing business based in Taunton is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the finance team on an immediate basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to support a busy finance function during a key period. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounting process while providing valuable financial insight to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
• Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Variance analysis and investigation of financial performance
• Cash flow reporting and monitoring
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Supporting financial controls and process improvement initiatives
• Business partnering with operational managers across the business
• Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
