Sanctuary – Registered Mental Health Nurse Locum

Join our team as a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse within the Home Treatment Team in the beautiful town of Taunton, UK. This ongoing opportunity is perfect for those seeking a role where you can truly make a difference. Enjoy the flexibility of working weekdays and evenings across Monday to Friday, covering three 12.5-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, while earning competitive rates of £26.50 per hour on weekdays, £34 for nights and Saturdays, and £41 for Sundays and bank holidays.

What you will do
  • Provide high-quality care to patients within the Home Treatment Team, offering short-term crisis interventions.
  • Conduct thorough holistic and risk assessments, maintaining precise and up-to-date electronic patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other community mental health services to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Respond promptly to triage referrals, determining client needs and potential risks.
  • Utilize your knowledge of medications to support acutely unwell patients.
  • Engage in effective communication across all levels, offering support and understanding to patients and their families.
