Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Starling HIV Service at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton is a free, confidential NHS outpatient clinic offering care, treatment and support for people living with HIV across Somerset. We provide diagnosis, follow-up, antiretroviral therapy, PrEP access and health monitoring. Working closely with SWISH and the Eddystone Trust, we ensure seamless integration between clinical and psychosocial care.

We’re seeking a highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our supportive team. This rewarding role contributes to an inclusive service supporting vulnerable individuals. A key focus will be digitising patient records to modernise systems and improve access.

Initially based at Musgrove Park Hospital, the service will be moving late January 2026 when it will operate from Millstream House, Taunton and the Summerlands site in Yeovil. From that point your three working days will be split between both locations.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for review depending on future service needs. While extension isn’t guaranteed, we welcome applicants interested in longer-term contribution.

If you’re ready to play a key part in a dynamic and modernising service, join us in delivering compassionate care for people living with HIV across Somerset.
