Salary: £40,000 to £60,000, depending on qualification and experience.

A friendly, close knit and well established law firm is seeking two permanent Residential Conveyancers / Residential Property Solicitors to join its busy and growing Taunton office. These hires form part of a long term expansion plan and will help strengthen the team as the department continues to grow.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, sociable and family friendly team that values professionalism, flexibility and strong team chemistry.

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Registered and unregistered titles
• New build work (advantageous but not essential)
• Optional: light commercial property work if desired
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
• Supervising junior staff where appropriate (desirable)
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment

• Residential Property Solicitors
• CILEX Lawyers
• Licensed Conveyancers
• Experienced residential conveyancing fee earners

• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
• Ability to manage your own caseload independently
• A reliable, sensible and team focused approach
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A stable career history or clear reasons for any frequent moves
• A positive personality that fits a close knit, sociable team
• Confidence supervising juniors is desirable but not essential

• Full time or part time hours
• Hybrid working

• Minimal BD expectations
• Permanent hires may take on light BD if they wish
• Strong referral flow already in place
• The firm prioritises quality over volume
