Job type: Fixed Term contract (9 months)

Hours: 35:00 hours per week, Monday – Saturday 08:30-16:00 and Sunday 12:30-20:00 (two Sundays on a rota basis every four weeks)

We are reinventing Royal Mail. As a Postie you will deliver postal items and services to the local community, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

A bit about you

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated
• Organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
• Friendly, people‑person, and a face in the community
• Enjoys walking for long periods and working outside in all weather
• Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

What we do for you

• Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p per hour, paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours
• Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of 1.25× for any hours worked over 40 per week
• 22.5 days holiday, increasing with length of service (adjusted for part‑time hours, if below 40)
