We’re looking for a Head of Maintenance to join our team, helping keep our stunning wedding venues in top condition and ready for every event. As the Head of Maintenance, you’ll play a vital role in the upkeep of our venues, assisting with event setup and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and wedding couples.

- General Maintenance:
Perform daily checks to ensure the smooth operation of the building, grounds, and equipment. - Guest & Venue Support:
Support the housekeeping, bar, and events teams in setting up rooms and moving furniture for weddings and other events. - Venue Safety:
Enhance guest safety by placing signage for wet floors, fresh paint, or other maintenance needs. - Upkeep of Public Spaces:
Keep public areas tidy and well‑maintained, contributing to the venue’s elegant atmosphere. - Repairs & Upkeep:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, painting, decorating, and other DIY tasks as needed. - Facility Checks:
Conduct regular checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio units, and bins to ensure efficient operation. - Hot Tub Maintenance:
Clean and maintain hot tubs, ensuring a pristine experience for guests. - Weekend Work:
Support the venue’s operations on weekends, ensuring the property remains well‑maintained and ready for guests during peak periods. - Emergency Call‑Outs:
Respond to urgent maintenance issues as part of an emergency call‑out rota, ensuring critical problems are addressed promptly and safely.
- Practical
Skills:
You have general DIY and maintenance skills, with experience in basic repairs and upkeep. - Physically Fit:
Comfortable moving furniture and handling larger items as part of setup and takedown for events. - Attentive & Proactive:
You’re detail-oriented, with good listening skills to understand the needs of guests and coworkers. - Strong Communicator:
Clear and effective in your communication with both team members and guests. - Reliable & Professional:
You take ownership of tasks, work well with others, and consistently deliver high standards.
