Thin Film Technician

A Taunton based manufacturer of thin film components, is now looking for an enthusiastic Technician to work in the production of thin film components within the clean room.

You will be producing thin film components using various machinery.

This role will require you to handle delicate materials, operate production equipment and use chemicals amongst other associated tasks.

Handling the delicate materials and chemicals requires attention to fine detail.

Experience and Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial; however, full training is provided.

Ideally, applicants would hold a minimum of GCSEs in Maths, English & Science and Level 3 in an Engineering/Science subject.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.

Any offer is subject to a basic DBS check

Salary / benefits:

c £24,406 p/a / c £13.41 per hour depending upon experience

Job Term:

Permanent / Full Time / Onsite / Monday – Friday day shifts / 35 hours per week
