We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established fabrication company based in Taunton.

This is a great opportunity to join a respected business working on a wide range of bespoke architectural, secondary and structural steel fabrication projects across the South West.

• Fabricating and welding a variety of bespoke steelwork
• Working from fabrication drawings
• Producing items such as stairs, gantries, walkways, handrails, balconies and structural steelwork
• Working as part of a skilled workshop team
• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
• Using modern workshop equipment and fabrication processes

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fabrication/welding
• Experience working from fabrication drawings
• Background in structural steel, architectural metalwork or bespoke fabrication
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
• Experience with tube bending machines or robotic welding systems would be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right person.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

• £15–£18 per hour depending on experience
