Job Title

Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (Scrub) – Taunton Hospital, Nursing Bank (Ad hoc) – Includes weekend work. Pay: up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

A Scrub Practitioner working in the theatre, focused, detail‑oriented, empathetic with excellent communication skills. Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC or HCPC) and possessing post‑registration experience in scrub roles.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Create high‑quality patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.

• Registered with the relevant governing body (e.g., NMC or HCPC).
• Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
• Team‑player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
