Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (Scrub) – Taunton Hospital

This is a permanent full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, based at the Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital. Pay is up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience and includes weekend work.

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Provide high‑quality peri‑operative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body – NMC or HCPC.
• Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
• Strong communication skills, empathetic and detail‑oriented.
• Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
