Bank Pre Assessment Staff Nurse

Staff Nurse – Pre‑Assessment – Taunton Hospital – Bank – Part Time – Includes weekend work – Up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

As a Pre‑Assessment Staff Nurse you will be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service. You will act as the first point of contact to help make appropriate patient assessments prior to surgery, demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills, fully understand and support patient and family needs, offer comfort and reassurance, build experience across new practices and equipment, and work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity of care.

• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.

• Build experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC.

• Post‑registration experience and a team‑player attitude with passion for exceptional patient care.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
