Job Summary

Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital. This part‑time bank role involves working on an ad‑hoc basis, including weekends. Pay up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

• Be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service.
• Act as the first point of contact and work with talent and professionals to make accurate assessments for patients prior to surgery.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge and assessment skills to ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Understand and support the needs of each patient and their family, offering comfort and reassurance.
• Build experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with practitioners in other areas to maintain continuity of patient care.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC).
• Post‑registration experience in nursing.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for exceptional patient care.
