Quality Manager

Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking to work on some of the UK's most complex infrastructure and construction projects?

We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a leading contractor based in the South West of Engalnd delivering major projects across the infrastructure sector. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping quality standards, driving continuous improvement and supporting project teams from tender stage through to delivery.

Working closely with senior management, project teams and supply chain partners, you will help ensure quality remains at the heart of project delivery while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading quality assurance and quality management activities across multiple projects
  • Supporting project mobilisation, quality planning and bid submissions
  • Conducting internal, supplier and project audits
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Managing non conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Supporting ISO 9001 compliance and quality management systems
  • Carrying out site visits and project quality reviews
  • Working closely with operational teams, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Sharing lessons learned and helping improve quality performance across the business
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance role
  • Background within infrastructure, civil engineering, construction, rail, utilities, energy or related sectors
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience carrying out internal and supplier audits
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Audit qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
