Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Taunton store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour plus non‑contractual hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to customers. This is a part‑time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 10 hours per week.

Energy, drive, and passion for a fast‑paced, customer‑facing retail environment are essential. A positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a fast‑paced shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure are required.

• Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information on products.
• Processing sales transactions at the till.
• Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuously replenishing stock to keep shelves full.
• Processing stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring the shop floor is kept clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Performing additional ad‑hoc duties as required.
