.NET Developer needed with active SC Security Clearance and strong hands‑on .NET C# skills with an Azure Cloud environment.

3 to 6 month contract based in Taunton (Hybrid). Hybrid working – primarily working remotely from home with travel to the Taunton (Somerset) office typically three times per month.

A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation on a large‑scale government project. Pay up to £470/day (Outside IR35). Start ASAP during Summer 2026.

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑scale Azure Cloud applications within a secure and highly regulated environment.
• Strong hands‑on software development experience using C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
• Develop applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud environments including:
  Azure PaaS services (App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Service Bus + Azure Key Vault).
• Technical skills: C#, .NET, Azure, REST APIs, service integration, object‑oriented design principles (OOD), Git source control, Git Hub Copilot AI tools, agile delivery teams, CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practice.
• Develop secure, high‑quality and maintainable solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to maintain coding standards and software engineering best practice.
• Utilize Git Hub‑based workflows for source code management and Git Hub Copilot‑AI assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation using SharePoint, Wiki, Git or other approved repositories.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.

Active SC Security Clearance is essential for this contract.
