37.5 Hours per Week - Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:00
Head of Engineering required for a leading engineering company who are going through an exciting period of growth and succession planning. This role would suit an experienced engineer with experience in a senior leadership role. You will hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) and will need experience manufacturing machinery or capital equipment. You will have a strong understanding of design processes and experience delivering projects to customers.
The Head of Engineering Role:
- Oversee the engineering team, design, compliance, controls, and commissioning
- Ensure machinery is designed to high quality and safety standards
- Identify new and advanced technologies for customer solutions
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements
- Key point of contact to customers during services, installation, commissioning and general aftersales support
- Oversee compilation of technical documentation, including risk assessments and conformance
The Head of Engineering Candidate:
- Experienced engineer – degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in a senior leadership role
- Understanding of design process of machinery or capital equipment
