* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
* Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
* Participate in safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
* Help track and analyze safety performance metrics (incidents, near misses, audits).
* Assist in investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
* Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs.
* Maintain and update safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
* Collaborate with production teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

* Qualifications:

*** Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
* Must at least be a Sophomore level to be considered
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of workplace safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform site inspections.
