Mechanical Assembler required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth. Candidates will need to be a mechanical engineer with experience working in a technical assembly / machine fitting position. You will hold a relevant mechanical qualification and will have experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools and power tools.
Working in a team of 5-6 people, the successful Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for building and assembling special purpose machinery based from engineering drawings.
- Building and assembling special purpose machinery
- Working from engineering drawings
- Using hand and power tools
- Fitter bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears
- Working with hydraulic and pneumatic pipework
- Quality checks
- Experienced mechanical fitter / engineer
- Hold a mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience using hand and power tools
