• Unique full-time opportunity for a psychiatrist comfortable with treating medically complex, behaviorally challenged DMH patients on the Medically Enhanced Unit (MEU) (15-20 beds).
• The MEU draws medically compromised psychiatric patients from throughout Massachusetts, bringing together enhanced medical coverage (one full-time internist and a half-time medical nurse practitioner) with enriched PT/OT, psychology, and nursing resources to promote recovery and discharge to the community.
• Specialty consultation available on site (endocrinology, pulmonology, respiratory therapy, neurology, etc.).
• Opportunity for clinical leadership.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, No Call Requirement.
• Option to volunteer for call to earn additional compensation.
• Salary: $175K – $185K plus excellent benefits package.
