Store Manager Trainee

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is hiring a Store Manager Trainee to oversee the profitable operations of a Dollar Tree store. The role is full‑time and located in Taunton, Massachusetts.

• Recruit and hire store associates.
• Foster employee growth and development through training on operations and merchandising, and coach and correct when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; big‑box experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high‑energy, team environment required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
