You’ll be responsible for assisting in driver scheduling, routing and scheduling orders for customers, and more. Customer service skills are essential as well - you'll be in constant communication with drivers, customers, and leadership. Manages Gordon Food Service’s (GFS) computerized routing system to route and schedule customer deliveries to ensure a high level of consistent customer service deliveries. Manages the division’s “Hours of Service” responsibilities by auditing driver records of duty status, communicating results to leadership, making edits as needed and record keeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Computer Experience

• Answers telephone and assist in resolving delivery problems.
• Maintains constant communication with drivers, customers and sales staff to ensure customers’ delivery needs are addressed.
• Maintains constant communication verbal, written and reports with drivers, transportation leadership to ensure DOT compliance on drivers “Hours of Service”.
• Scheduling Backhauls
• Mapping - Placement of pallets in trailer using Fusion, Software System
• Performs other duties as assigned
