Are you all about planning and maintaining efficient transportation routes? Join our logistics team as a dispatcher! You'll be responsible for assisting in driver scheduling, routing and scheduling orders for customers, and more. Customer service skills are essential as well – you'll be in constant communication with drivers, customers, and leadership. Manages GFS's computerized routing system to route and schedule customer deliveries to ensure a high level of consistent customer service deliveries. Manages the division's "Hours of Service" responsibilities by auditing driver records of duty status, communicating results to leadership, making edits as needed and record keeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years experience in dispatching

• Work with national router
• Daily route
• Utilizes computerized routing system to route and schedule customer deliveries to enhance GFS profitability and customer service through the development of efficient routing schemes.
• Maintains necessary files within computerized routing system and maintains accuracy of data that impact customer delivery window and management reports.
• Routes and schedules customer deliveries via computerized routing system and assists in driver scheduling.
• Maintains trip reports, mileage records.
• Answers telephone and assists in resolving delivery problems.
• Maintains constant communication with drivers, customers and sales staff to ensure customers' delivery needs are addressed.
• Utilizes computerized Hours of Service system to audit drivers record of duty status and make necessary edits to ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintains files both electronic and paper to support Hours of Service compliance.
• Maintains constant communication verbal, written and reports with drivers, transportation leadership to ensure DOT compliance on drivers "Hours of Service".
• Performs other duties as assigned
