Caseload is 3 days at one middle school, and two days at another, combining for a full-time position.

• The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students  communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language pathology interventions and strategies to improve students  communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the school-based team to create and implement strategies that support students  participation in the classroom and social activities.
• Monitor and document students  progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Offer guidance and education to parents, teachers, and support staff on strategies to enhance students  communication skills and facilitate carryover into the classroom.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation.
• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology services in schools.

• Master s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Florida licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
• Dedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care.
