We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's reputable automotive business in Tavistock, Devon. The successful Service Technician will have the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic equipment, deliver exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

- Perform vehicle servicing, repairs and MOTs to high standards
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
- Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and other mechanical components
- Carry out fast fit tyre fitting, wheel alignments and related adjustments
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Provide honest and clear advice to customers regarding vehicle conditions and service requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common issues across various makes and models
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in the automotive industry
- Proven experience in mechanical repairs, including tyre fitting, brakes, suspension and exhausts
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment as the Vehicle Technician
- Full UK Driving Licence held for at least six months
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
